From 10 a.m. to noon, the event includes: contest for owner and dog look-alikes, best-dressed dog, fastest runner, best tracker, door prizes and giveaways. Food and beverages for dogs and owners.

29th Annual Zwinglefest
Saturday, Zwingle Recreation Area,
located 16 miles south of Dubuque
9 a.m., slow-pitch softball games and volleyball tournament, 2 p.m., semi-pro baseball tournament. Kids games start at
2 p.m., kids tractor pull at 3 p.m., a barbecue chicken dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. and live music by the Buzz Berries from 8 p.m. to midnight. Admission is free.

Sponsored by the Dubuque County Historical Society and Queen B Radio, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day will feature: sun printing, conservation agency presentations, wildlife and fish stations and animal programs. There also will be touch tanks that allow visitors to get an up-close and personal experience with turtles, frogs and mussels. The event is free and open to the public.
